This Class is presented by Brandyn Dixon of Fly Guys which is also a great resource for fly tying and information about the lakes in the interior of British Columbia. Check out some of his ties on the Fly guys YouTube channel: Brandyn is the Chironomid fishing Magician.

In this Chironomid Fly Tying Class we will cover not only tying the patterns but also cover a few of the basics for 3 different Chironomid fishing techniques. Strike indicator fishing, floating/naked line technique as well as the full sink/dangle technique. Patterns will be 6 of our top producing Chironomid patterns, covering all types from the white bead/ice cream cone style, the beaded with gills style as well as the more classic non beaded traditional buzzer style. This covers a wide variety of all things cronies and should allow the attending folks to go home afterward and be comfortable knowing the steps to tie each type of Chironomid from there they can change colours and materials and grow they’re fly boxes as big as they’d like!
