I was born in New Westminster, BC and lived in Chilliwack until the age of 7. My passion for the outdoors developed as I walked, biked, and fished along the shores of the Vedder River near my home. Since then, I have grown up in Pemberton, BC where I have had the pleasure of fishing on the beautiful surrounding lakes and rivers. Some of my fondest memories have been fishing with my family. To seal my fishing addiction, my dad, uncle and grandfather took me on a fishing trip on the Pacific near Prince Rupert. This trip was my hook. Since that time, I have become a wanna be fishing and hunting gooroo. The only thing that stops me from fishing is the occasional hockey game. Fly tying was the natural progression of my interest both because I couldn’t afford to buy flies and because it gives me much needed challenge. This hobby has opened up so many opportunities and I’m happy to share my tricks.
