We’ve been working on a new Coho salmon and Chum Salmon fly pattern. This Salmon fly pattern has been producing tons of Salmon in the Rivers surrounding Squamish BC Canada. A must tie! Use it with either an 8 – 9 wt fly rod, a sinking tip in a sink rate from type 3 – 5 and a leader length between 4 – 6′. Watch out for your knuckles, these flies will make your fly reel scream.
Material list
- hook – 4/0 mustad sproat
- thread – 6/0 orange uni thread
- bead – green 1/4
- tail – chartreuse marabou, pearl flash
- body – antron chenille chartreuse
- ribbing – large polar chenille ice blue
- wing – UV white bucktail, glow in the dark flashabou
- collar – chartreuse lightning dubbing
