Over the past week we have been extensively testing this Dragonfly pattern with great success. Not to boast but the pattern has only been catching big fish. This dragon pattern works well with a very fast sinking line with a leader length between 10′ – 12′. Your heavy line will be in the weeds and the fly will sit just up out of them, similar to a booby pattern. When you strip this pattern it darts toward the bottom making it very attractive to feeding fish, get it before it disappears on the bottom.
