Friday Night Flies – How to tie a Gomphus
Friday Night Flies – How to tie a Gomphus
The Gomphus is a classic stillwater fly. It is used to resemble a dragonfly nymph and when fly fished correctly nothing will out fish it. Dragonfly nymphs are a predatory insect that cruise along the shoals, this makes them an easy target for fish. They are aquatic for up to 3 years and they are always in the water year round.
