The string leech has been around for quite a while and it is a fantastic steelhead fly. It has loads of movement and salmon and steelhead can’t resist it. Make sure you tie this up in all of your favourite steelhead colours!

Material List:

Hook: 25mm Shank, 50lb J Braid, Octopus Hook Stinger size 6-2, 3/16” Bead
Thread: 210 Danville’s White
Body: Superfly Diamond Dub Holographic Purple, Fl. Blue Rabbit Strip, Superfly Polar Chenille UV Purple Blue
Collar: Purple Marabou, Krinkle Mirror Flash Pearl, Black Schlappen
