Friday Night Flies – Amy’s Ant
Friday Night Flies – Amy’s Ant
Amy’s Ant is a pattern created by industry legend Jack Dennis. The pattern, at least to me is a combination of a hopper, Chernobyl ant and a stimulator. The pattern gain notoriety in 1999 when it won the Yellowstone Angler One Fly contest. Shortly after that, the pattern was picked up by Umpqua and is still sold commercially to my knowledge.
