This steelhead fly has crazy amounts of movement and was originated by Jon Hazlett of the Ashland Fly Shop in Oregon. This is a super fun fly to tie and it deserves a spot in your steelhead box. I can’t wait to swing this for winter chrome later this winter.
Material List:
Hook: 35mm Articulation Shank w/ Medium Dumbbell Eyes, Intruder Wire, Size 2 or 4 Octopus Hook
Thread: 210 Danville’s White
Body: Rubber Legs tied in reverse, Ice Dub ball, Reverse Tied Schlappen, Palmered Marabou, Krinkle Mirror Flash
Collar: Schlappen or Large Eye Guinea.
